  1. Many thanks to all of you that offered suggestions. I was finally able to install HQ Player on the M1 Mac Mini. I enabled screen sharing and was able to drag the xml registration key from the Mac Pro to the Mini and it worked!!!! Once again thanks for the help!
  2. Stefano: Thanks for your reply. However I do not know how I can upload the registration file to my Mac Mini. I can save it to my hard drive but the registration file is greyed out and can't be selected. Apple tech says the reason is that the file is in an XML format which the Mac can't see or interpret on the Mac Mini. The menu for HQ player goes > help > register - It then goes to the directory of locations on my hard drive to select the file, such as in downloads, documents , etc. I have saved it to documents, downloads, and the desktop. None of the files can be selected from those locations. Any more suggestions are certainly welcome as I am not an Einstein concerning HQ player or Mac OS. By the way the Mac Mini is running the latest version of Monterey.
  3. Attached is a screen shot of the key as sent by MyCommerce:
  4. Miska thank you for your response I downloaded another copy of the key from MyCommerce and saved it in documents. The XML file will not open in Mac Mini Monterey. I have tried to save it as a text file, pages file etc. My mac mini and MacBook Pro will not recognize the key file. It will open in Parells Window 10, but my Mac Mini is not running Windows. I need a registration key for a Mac Mini M1.
  5. I am a newbie/lurker and I have a question that i can't find the answer for. I have done what I think is an extensive search through the software HQ form, and many emails to [email protected] without finding this information. If all of this has been covered before, I apologize and beg your forgiveness. I have a MacBook Pro I-7 with HQ desktop 4.0 and Client installed and working. Due to the discussions on this forum I am attempting to set up a new Mac Mini with the M1 chip as a source for my main music system. My questions are as follows: Do I need two separate licenses? (ie: one for the Mac Mini and one for the I-7 MacBook Pro) If I only need one license why will the Mac Mini not allow me to choose the registration key file on the Mini? All of the files on the mini are greyed out and I can't select a file. I downloaded a new copy of HQ Player 4 for the M1. I then selected help from the HQ menu, then register but as I mentioned the registration files are greyed out. I really need some advice to utilize the Mac Mini and would be grateful for any offered Thanks!
