  1. As an ex-Primephonic subscriber who was kicked off the service by Apple's purchase, this is a big disappointment. No iPad App. No SpotifyConnect-like functionality. Admittedly, Primephonic did not have this either, but they at least were working on it when the sale went through. I'll stick with Spotify.
  2. Has Origin been tested with Audirvana Remote?
  3. Since ARemote has been brought up, I thought I would ask: Has anyone had consistent results with its startup? With it's ability to locate your Audirvana server, without manual intervention? Seems I often have to tap "Select a Computer" on the startup page, except when I don't... IOW, it is very inconsistent, sometimes it starts up and finds the computer automatically, other times it doesn't. Once it find it, it works perfectly for the duration of the listening session. I have Audirvana Studio on a late 2014 mac mini running Monterey 12.2.1 and an iPad mini gen 2 running iOS12. Firewall is off, Wifi signal is fine. IP address is consistent. MiniDSP SHD (OEM Volumio interface), is the LAN device.
  4. For those interested, this thread has been presented in the Audirvana forums: https://community.audirvana.com/t/replay-gain-shown-with-qobuz/32190 It seems this is a bug in Audirvana Remote. The RG: xxxdB should not be shown if "Volume Leveling" has been turned off.

  6. No, there are no Qobuz settings that apply to normalization. It looks like they leave it up to the player that the subscriber is using. @David Craff can you verify?
  7. I would like to verify that if I set "VOLUME LEVELING" to "OFF" on Audirvana Studio, that this replay gain (rg: xxxdB) shown while streaming Qobuz, does nothing.
  8. I don't normalize volume in Audirvana Studio (Audirvana calls it "Volume Leveling"). So this is telling me that if I did normalize volume, it would add or substract so many dB's? I just want to make sure that it isn't actually doing anything as long as I don't normalize the volume in Audirvana settings.
  9. Can anyone tell me what this "RG: xxxdb" means? It changes with each track. Appears when I stream Qobuz in Audirvana Studio.
  10. This problem of missing or diminished tracks is really annoying when you are a classical music lover. You pick a symphony from a recently reviewed performance, and the adagio movement is skipped. Ruins the album in its entirety... Fortunately, that has only happened once to me on Qobuz. After many years with Tidal, I dropped the service when they started doing that, only in their case, they were reducing bit rates on certain tracks - to lossy mp3. The record labels are still trying to figure out how to make money streaming. The streaming companies say it is labels fault. I know I will never go back to Tidal. I went to Primephonic until they were bought out by Apple. I went to Idagio, but I could never get them to understand that Airplay is a faulty way of streaming. So now I'm with Qobuz. As consumers, we can always speak with our wallets.
  11. Testing with Fing at the exact location and time where you use the iOS device to run AR eliminates any doubts. It is not difficult.
  12. As a new Audirvana Studio subscriber, I was pleasantly surprised to see the update. I installed it and it ran smoothly. I was hoping to see an update to Audirvana Remote. AR never seems to start up for me. It can't seem to find my mac mini upon startup, even though it is listed. I have to manually select the mac mini each time I start up. Sometimes it finds it on its own, but it's sluggish and slow and I never know if it will work automatically.
  13. This may have come up before, but is there any hope for a Qobuz Connect in the future? New Qobuz subscriber here. Right now I am listening to Qobuz through Audirvana Studio / Audirvana Remote (Mac mini / iPad).
