Terminator input in this photo is, per manual, 352.8 (44.1 + 8x), I think. I have the Hermes and the Terminator II, and also didn’t notice at first the limitation of the DDC. I’ve compared 768 via USB vs 384 + Hermes, also with 44.1 equivalent, and the second path, for me, sounds better. Source is Mac mini M1, so the DDC probably has a greater effect.

Hi Bibo, could you provide us with a link or steps to install windows 2012 (or 10 technical preview) in a SD card? It would be nice to use with a Mac mini as NAA and remove SSD, wifi and IR antennas, for example. My Mac mini is only dual core, would be difficult to deal with Hqplayer in the near future. Regarding Hqplayer I experience less dropouts with Pipeline SDM checked, upsampling without them to dsd128, poly sinc and dsd7 enabled, to a Teac UD 501 (Windows 10 with AO 1.31b11). And regarding the dac, I compared it in my system to a Benchmark dac1 USB and M2tech Young DSD, that almost doubles the price, and stay with the Teac. Don't feel one as best dac, they simply sound different. The Benchmark is maybe too edgy, and the Young is almost equal. I'm not sure I would been able to distingish them both in a blind test. The rest of the system, Primare I32 and Vienna Mozart. Best regards.

If you don't mind I have several questions: - Are we able to reach 60 or less processes just with this tweaked installation, automatically applying the step by step guide listed above? - Beside that, the number of processes is reduced without any system optimization? I'm refering to the first of the screenshots posted by Paul, before talking about daemons. - Do you finally let your initial instalation (basic applications) in your system? Or follow the agents and daemons road? Or both? - Finally, do we need to manually select the applications that are going to be installed? For me this could be a problem. First of all I would like to thank people in this forum for their contributions, very helpful indeed. Second, I would like to question about the use of the sd card or the internal ssd in a 15" Macbook Pro Retina (Late 2013). There are many threads about this, but a few comments about this model. I really couldn't notice the huge difference reported with the Mac mini, possibly due to my equipment, but trying to get the best (such subtle) sound of it. The use of the sd is less operative too.
