Can you point in the direction of any info on this? I'd be quite interested.. I've only seen the work in mpd at the moment which still seems to require quite a bit of patching.

There is some work currently to support the popular XMOS chipsets with native DSD in linux. This should be possible to include in Daphile, but the author is part way of a 6 month RTW trip, so if it appears it may be a bit later in the year. LMS/Squeezelite will also require changes to permit the stream to be fed direct. That Yamaha chipset is a rarer beast though.

I assume you've ticked the DSD over PCM box in the audio device settings and saved your preferences? However, it looks like this device doesn't support DoP. The drivers for this device for Direct-DSD are Windows and Mac only. The more modern USB chipsets generally now support USB Class Audio 2.0 and DoP - This means no special driver is required for Mac or Linux. Daphile is based on Gentoo linux, so the chances of it being made capable are quite slim I'm afraid.

In Storage, Network Drives - Use CIFS. Try using the IP address of the server if it doesn't work with the servername. eg. 192.168.1.1:/Opslag/Muziek Also check any security settings on your windows share. You can add a user/pass in the Daphile connection page, or in Windows ensure that user 'Everyone' has at least read access.

LMS is open sourced under GPL.

I don't have WiMP in the UK, but I can assure you that the Qobuz FLAC streaming (which is supported by a 3rd party plugin - although Michael has had a lot of input on it) works flawlessly. If you do run into any issues specific to Daphile and WiMP then drop a line via the contact form on the website. Kimmo is very reactive at bug fixing!

You can also try Qobuz , but I think it's only currently available in Austria Belgium Germany Ireland Luxembourg Netherlands Switzerland United Kingdom and France. FLAC streaming. Extensive catalogue and a great Squeeze plugin that also works with the SmartMix plugin.

Mention it at WiMP with FLAC and Squeezeboxes Michael Herger is the sole remaining dev at Logitech and frequents the forum. He may well be able to add support for WiMP Poland.

Oh.. and one more thing. You'll need to put your squeezebox account details in Setting > Advanced Media Server Settings > mysqueezebox.com

WiMP works in DaPhile. Goto to Settings > Advanced Media Server Settings > Plugins and enable the WiMP plugin there. Then goto the AppGallery on the main page and enable it there (you may need to register for a Squeezebox account)
