    DM, I'm unsure as to whether this was asked earlier in the thread but are you testing the DAC/Amps as a true DAC (line out) or through its headphone out, using its amplifier capabilities? By any chance, have you had the chance to listen through a DACport LX or a CLAS -dB DAC?
