  1. Ivery rarely go above 24/48 so that is not as problem for now.
  2. 16/44 on a Sim Audio DAC with Analysis Plus cables! The extra money I spent on cable and a good DAC is nothing compared to the money I save when I just borrow cd's from friends, family, the library etc. and rip them to my HD.
  3. I vote for stand, but that's because I am a woodworker and I like building audio cabinets.
  4. I need a new digital player and I am looking at the GBOX from Matricom. All I need it to do is play 16/44 or 24/96. It has a coaxial out which is great. I spoke to matricom and they said that I can do that no problem with the GBOX, but I was not sure how it performed...I would like to hook up an external cd burner to it so I can rip cd's to an external hd, but if I can't its no big deal, I have a laptop I can use for that. The reason Im thinking I am gonna pick one up with one of them WireWorld Chroma 7 coax's. After I get my speakers and audio cabinet built I will worry about upgrading the coax if the GBOX works out well.
  5. Hi all. I am new here. I need a new media player. I just need something I can hook an external hd up to and listen to FLAC or AIFF on. I saw on Amazon that it is only $97 for a GBox Midnight MX2. I think that would be great because I can use it's SPDIF out. My DAC is more suited for SPDIF/TOSLINK (its a Sim Audio Moon 100D). The toslink is already taken up by my PS4. Anyway, I was just wondering if Android's Flac players are decent and if that box is ok to use?
