  1. Excellent thank you. I'm leaning toward the Pioneers. Are they a good buy at Amazon's current price of $126? Any suggestions for an amp for $100 or less?
  2. Pardon my ignorance, but is it safe to use unshielded speakers (like the Pioneer SP-BS22-LR or Dayton B352) in a desktop computer setup? My monitor is an LCD and my PC's tower will off off to the side of one of the speakers. [h=1][/h]
  3. Hello all. I apologize if this is a little silly but I'm new to using anything other than computer speakers on the computer. My current set is: a custom-built desktop Intel 860 running Win7 x64 with a set of Logitech Z340 2.1 speakers I've had for a really long time. Sound card is the Realtek HD audio that is onboard my motherboard ( Gigabyte GA-P55M-UD2 ). Playback is done with Foobar2000. The format is almost entirly lossless FLAC CD rips. Here's what I'm looking at: * Dayton Audio DTA-120 amp * Micca MB42 speakers or Dayton Audio B652 ( I hear there have been some quality control issues as of late though, is that correct?) Does this seem like a reasonable starter setup? As far a music goes I primaraily listen to classic rock and electric blues, with some classical every now and then. I'll be listen both at the desk and about 10feet away in a comfy chair. Thanks
