  1. Hi, thanks for you guys replies, I have figured out that the problem actually is from the Dlink NAS Upnp/DLNA, which it will automatically change the wav file to LPCM via UPNP media server. I have tried everything I can to try to disable such stupid transcoding feature, but unfortunately Dlink NAS did not offer to disable the transcoding of wav file. Now I have purchased a new Synology NAS and now everything is just running just fine and problem free.i think for audio usage, only Synology NAS is recommended.
  2. Hi, I'm new to computer audio and I just purchased a new Pioneer N50 network audio streamer audio with Dlink NAS. Now my problem is I can stream aiff, flac, mp3.... but can't playback the wav file, once selected wav file to play, the N50 will come out a message "file not supported". Now I'm figuring out will this my Dlink NAS problem or N50 problem, but I suspect that probably will be the dlink problem because I have no problem playback wav file via USB.
