Have you tried the CCA into your LessLoss DAC Pneumonic? How does it compare to the Transporter as a transport?

Thanks Pneumonic that's great news. I guess that is another option for playback of local media and a handy one for those of us already running LMS.

This is an excellent follow-up Chris given the drastic changes the latest firmware provides. I'm very interested to hear your impressions of the performance of this device into a good DAC vs alternative streamers.

Sorry for digging up a slightly old thread but I have been using Squeezelite on a Pi/Wolfson set-up for the past few days and find it to be very good (using line out). I don't have a high bench-mark to compare it to in my system as far as digital sources (a Squeezebox Touch and NAD C520 CD Player) but I can't stop listening to the thing since I purchased it. I didn't have any trouble connecting the Wolfson board to the Pi and using Squeezeplug to set-up the player and drivers was pretty easy. Would be interested in the views of other members of this board who have DACs of higher credentials. It's not much $ and the Pi is a great tool for a few other things if the music doesn't grab you
