Nightmare

@all That´s what I missed from on the first trial. A better and more detailed manual dealing with the point concerning the first measurement and the questions and ´problems´ that occur inascapably, when something does not consist. And further more a chapter explaining all the options to optimize the curves step by step. What to do and what to avoid. Would be helpfull to be guided a little bit more!!!

Hi Flavio! What means "1 year free support and updates"? No free updates for users after the first year??? Dirac did not update all sides of their website! Technical specs e.g. are still the old ones.

Hi Flavio! Will a new measurement be necessary or can the old files be used? A litte bit off topic, but do you plan to improve the usibilty by e.g. an app for iOS/Android in the nearer future?

Of course it is easy that way. But I was talking about Amarra with iRC and not Dirac Software itself as a stand alone solution.

I posted in the other thread cause I thought this one will be opened for discussion of version 3 not before the official launch of the software ;-) Of course it will be THE ONE AND ONLY then :-)

I found 17th of June. Does that mean it will be possible to use the integrated room correction (iRC) with Spotify, Qobuz and others?

Are these plugins for Audirvana or standalone tools working under OSX that have to be started separately? Fabfilter proQ is to expensive. Any advice what would be a good one from the others you mentioned? Would be happy if it works like the parametric EQ integrated in Audirvana+ without extra costs ;-)

This does not approach to room issues for the same reasons you mentioned (simple physics). Of course it is a nice development, but does not correct problems your room is responsible for. In addition to that I am very curious how Devialet will take care, that nearly every benefits from SAM soon. I guess it will take a long long time to make data available for every speaker out there. Maybe a deadlock. We will know in a few months.

No, of course not. Not more or less than Dirac might have issues concerning sound quality (see here). But as I use a Apple Mac mini there ist no need in a DDRC-22D. Why should I pay a lots more for a case around Dirac, when Dirac can run on my Mac similarly?! As I said, I will test Dirac (+ eventually Amarra HiFi) as well as Amarra Symphony iRC. Some users complain about missing sound quality (dynamic) using Dirac and I never heard about that complains with iRC in Amarra Symphony. But maybe the new Dirac V1.0.4 might have solved that issue. I will see. Alternatively I will try JRiver and its parametric EQ.

Unfortunately another ´sudden death´ of an interesting discussion not having further feedbacks of those who had issues with earlier versions of Dirac Live Room Correction Suite. So what´s about your review findings with the 1.0.4? Still ´dynamik´ problems or missing sound quality? Will test the 1.0.4 soon, also. Just got my XTZ micro for the trial. Curious how it works and if I will hear differences comparing it to Amarra Symphony iRC as well.
