  1. Hi all, thanks for your continued views all very interesting, I have managed to locate a speaker supplier close to where I live in China who will build bespoke speakers to suit the buyers taste and listening area, so I have an appointment booked to discuss my needs and I will use your valuable feedback to see what he also suggests. Will keep you posted of progress. Just a quick note of my own experience to date using the Naim in my room at home with some even smaller speakers than the KEF's. Realhifi is right, it can really push out some sound, with plenty of base when assisted by my subwoofer
  2. Thanks for the suggestions, I am the 'friend' referred to in the initial post, and as you correctly guessed I would like to keep it simple right now and cost is also a factor. I am based in China so finding kit form speakers is not something I have yet explored, but I will give it some thought. In my home media set up I do have a powered sub woofer, but I was hoping to keep the music spate from the AV set up. One pair of speakers I trialled over the weekend, that I liked were the KEF LS 50's. Whilst trialled in a smaller setting to my own home, I do say I thought the sound supplied direct from the Naim unit was pretty good. The other point you mention though is still of concern, will the combination of the Naim and the KEF's be powerful enough for the room?
