Thanks so much Danilo That explaination makes sense. I also use A+. I am sort of the opposite with respect to software, I think A+ is easier to use and Jriver is confusing, but that may just be me. A+ looks like a real native MAC program whereas JRIVER looks like it was ported from windows app. to MAC. Please let me know what Damien (A+ developer) replies regarding this issue. Are you sending you unit in order to get the firmware upgrade, or is it defective in some other way? Thanks again Joe

Hello Med I currently own the MHA100 headphone amp. I want a McIntosh SACD. You mentioned the MCD550. Will this unit play the DSD layer on a SACD disk? I don't understand how the MCT45/D150 combo is unique. In other words if my goal is to play SACD's only, what would be the difference of buying the 550 and using it with my MHA vs buying the MCT45/D150 combo? Thanks Joe
