  1. Thank Jussi, I actually prefer the sound of 512+fs over the non-512+fs ones. It does put CPU loading heavier though. I am currently running both DDR5 CL32 RAM . They are pricey but does bring subtle improvements on sound quality.
  2. I am able to run MG(a) /ASDM7EC-ul 512+fs or ASDM7EC-light 512+fs from 44.1 files. 13900ks/A6000/64G DDR5 6400 You might want to look at the following points: 1. Cooling— Even water cooling is not sufficient to run above combination. Compressor cooling is required to achieve what you want. You want to keep your CPU below 85C for maximum single core performance. 2. DDR5 is required. 6400 or above is recommended. 3. M/B MSI is preferred for overclocking. Two cores reach 6.3G is necessary. You do not need to do these troubles if you can satisfy at 512 DSD.

I have the same issue with newer version of embedded. The performance dropped when upgraded to newer version. On my 13900Ks/A6000 machine, I can play asdm7ec-super 512fs/ext3 1024dsd 44.1 base rate on 5.2.0 with no dropouts but with hiccups on every newer version.
  4. Thanks for the feedback! I think the speed of CPU needs to reach 6.3G to perfectly play ASDM7EC-super 512/poly-sinc-ext3. I have a 13900k can do 6.1G but still have dropouts in a 30 second intervals.
  5. Are you able to do ASDM7EC-super 512fs /poly-sinc-ext3 combo at 1024DSD?
  6. Hello! If my case, single core performance is much important to achieve heavier modules. 6.4 ghz is the highest I can push with Intel CPUs. For GPU, both A6000 and 3090 will do the same sinc-l job just fine.
  7. Certainly! ASDM7EC-Super 512fs+ is the heaviest following by light 512fs. None 512fs is easier to my knowledge.
  8. Sinc-L is achievable in my several setups at 1024 DSD with modules from ASDM7EC all the way up to ASDM7EC-light 512fs+. ASDM7EC-super 512fs+ is doable but not perfect.
  9. No difference I can tell between 3090 and A6000 on loading time for 1024 sinc-l. Sinc-L loading time at 1024 is always longer around 20 -30 seconds. The difference between A6000 and 3090 is temperature and power consumption. A6000 is cooler and less demanding on power. I like asdm7ec-super or asdm7ec-light 512fs.
  10. 3090 will be working just fine for Hqplayer. I have 3090 and A6000 in different computers. Not much difference can be found with 13900K cpu. You can reach 1024dsd/sinc-L for 44.1 with proper cooling.
  11. No, single 3090 will be good enough for sinc-l at 1024dsd.
  12. Try manually enable AXV512 and put it on the highest priority. What brand is your motherboard?
  13. I would also look for a 3090 GPU cause they will do sinc-l just as good a A6000 or 4090. I would especially look for a used one in good condition. I bought two of them used, all worked well with HQPE.
  14. You will also need good 64G DDR5 to do what you want to achieve. Lower speed 5600 DDR5 might be a problem. You can also try to enable file swapping for 32G setups see if you like what you hear.
  15. It is possible with 44.1 at ASDM7EC-light 512+gas/sinc-l. ASDM7EC-Super 512+fs will have hiccups every minute.
