You can use the Liztic desktop app, available for Mac and PC, to manage the content on your iOS device. Actually, when you have a library on your Mac or PC, you can also "pull" the music from your desktop to your iOS device. Hi there, your computer only needs to be on Wifi when you want to stream from it to another device. It sounds like you want to stream from Dropbox (or Google Drive) which you can do with Liztic as well. Does that work for you?
