I have been having a problem streaming AIFF and DSD files. I am using a the Auralic Aries to stream music from my Bryston BDP-2 internal drive into a second system. I use the Lightning DS app for control. Everything works and sounds great except all of the files encoded in AIFF and DSD do not show up. The Artist and Album are listed but the individual tracks are missing. The Aries plays them just fine if I put them on a hard drive and play them directly from the hard drive. I converted some of the AIFF files into FLAC and they show up. When I convert them back to AIFF they are gone again. Not sure where the problem is. Any ideas? Thanks!

Thanks guys, I am glad I am not a software programmer. I can't imagine how many variables are in play Richard. The problem occurs in Playlist mode and when using iTunes. No changes in the Amarra preferences seem to make any difference. Will report to Amarra to see if they have a cure. By the way, since my first post this morning it has been working perfectly all day. Go figure. Intermittent problems are the worst. I knew this thread would solve my problem!

Thanks for the quick responses. I have four filters set up in IRC. The issue happens when trying to switch between any of them. It also happens if I try to turn off IRC in the IRC panel. My system is listed below. The Lexicon is not in the path when playing from computer. Hi guys! First time post! Recently upgraded to Amarra with IRC. Despite the various problems which have come up (many solved with the help of this thread, Thanks!), I absolutely love the sound. The changes with IRC were so drastic that at first I was not so sure. The sound was different but was it better? After a week of solid listening I can say that it is much, much better. Anyway, I have encountered a problem that I have not been able to solve. I lose sound completely when I try to change filters in the IRC window. I need to restart Amarra and then it will play with the last filter I selected. This is an intermittent problem. It happens most of the time but occasionally I can change filters normally. Anyone else have this problem? Thanks for your help, Cheers. Dr. Ric
