I too purchased a ds47 for use with daphile and openelec(xbmc) but for the life of me was never able to get wireless working reliably with either program. Something not getting along with the realtek wifi card i suspected. I ended up hooking it up to a cheap network bridge and its worked great ever since. I kind of wish I got a ds437 which has no OEM wifi card so I could have used a more linux friendly variant than the realtek. If there is something I am missing please fill me in!
That said the fanless design and the fact I can leave it running 24/7 hooked up to some bose speakers which automatically sleep when there is no input makes for a handy little music setup.
