Hello, I'm looking for a good connection between a recent iMac and a Prism Sound ADA-8XR dac. Is there a manufacturer who offers Thunderbolt to Firewire 6-pin cables? It feels odd to start everything with an Apple adapter. Thanks for your help, Stephan

I haven't been using A+2.0.9 in a while now, today I've added some new albums to my library, started A+ and noticed that I can't see the content of an album anymore. Usually, selecting an album from the list would show the individual tracks, but not anymore. Get info only gives me the global album info (title, artist, how many tracks, duration). Not sure whether I'm loosing it completely now… My settings haven't changed at all. Any pointers are greatly appreciated, Stephan

10.8.5 Tried Mavericks and Yosemite on external drives and deleted again. The ever advancing clutter and iOSification is definitely not for me. I wish someone would come up with a Pro OS, something that can be ‘extremely’ stripped down if desired. Just my 10.85 cents really.

My very favourite Bruce Springsteen related story - (but then I don't know too many others.) It's from Greg Millner's Perfecting Sound Forever, a book that became one of my bibles over the years. I've purchased the first press LP of Nebraska based on this, it's a beautiful album and I think it sounds exquisite.
