Thanks for the info. I didn't measure (and have no tools to do so) then Ohm. It just happens that after all the soldering, plug in the USB to my PC and my DAC, signal light goes on my DAC. Music coming through with amazing SQ. Maybe someone could check with Chris (VH audio) about the bulk wire numbers. And one more things is, my USB cable is unshielded, just bare cotton cover silver wire

I have been DIYed a 1 meter USB cable using VH audio's Cotton Insulated Silver Wire, which is UniCrystal™ OCC (Ohno Continuous Cast) silver 28 AWG with very decent results. I just ripped a normal USB cable and use that connector and solder the bulk silver wire to the Data pins only. My Music Fidelity VDAC II use separate power, so the power is not required in my USB cable. I also do double runs on each data (+/-),hopefully to minimize the time require for signal error correction. It is then twisted between + and -. The SQ is transparent,very details, airy, fast and deep base. I guess the cotton extremely low dielectric constant benefits the SQ. The OCC silver is also stunning for fast data transmission. Eliminating the power channel of USB cable also improve the SQ. Basically, what I am looking for is a ultra fast USB cable (I guess to minimize the jitter issue), to transfer the data

My DAC (MF VDAC-2) uses Burr-Brown DSD1796 DAC chip and Burr-Brown SRC4392 asynchronous upsampler . The reason I choose coaxial over TOSlink and USB is because coaxial support 192khz native. My DAC have all three options. Also looking at CompLab Utilite.

I am also looking into Udoo to replace my PC, currently running J.River Media to feed into my Musical Fidelity VDAC II through coaxial S/PDIF. A Few Questions: How do you use S/PDIF with Udoo, it says in the description by using pin header, but not details there. How do you find the sound Quality between [udoo+Volumio] Vs [PC +J River Media] What do mean by "modded Mael linear power supply"? Where could I find it? How much would it Cost?
