  1. Roberto2, i have the same experience with a lower end usb-spdif converter : the MATRIX X-SPDIF integer mode up to 192 khz, much better than usb1. And dsd is so much better with this setup the other improvement is the fluidity of operation : with usb, audirvana sometimes get stuck between pcm and dsd tracks. Here, no problems at all ! that is now my default setup. I'm waiting for a wireworld starlight 7 usb cable as for the moment the usb cable is a standard one
  2. Mea coulpa ! I solved my problem and I know get DSD64 (128 still greyed) via the MATRIX X-spdif, with INTEGER mode on Audirvana ! solved by setting DCS from 1.1 (the one i use for firewire and that I forgot to look at) to 1.0 currently listening to DSD that way .... And it is actually quite good ! will report for comparison to firewire non integer later
  3. Kennyb123 I'm in the process to compare to my standard setup via firewire and then to usb1 which supports also integer up to 96khz. For the moment, I can say that this way it is different from firewire, but difficult to say what the differences are and which one is better or which one i prefer. What is sure is that native dsd via firewire to Mytek is better than the one converted by audirvana to 192 pcm even if the later is not so bad and very close to a good 44khz.
  4. I report that the MATRIX X-SPDIF enables to get integer mode with audirvana up to 192 kHz .... but ONLY for PCM. Audirvana (latest version) does not recognize it as DSD capable and convert dsd before to send it to MYTEK. DSD is greyed on audirvana preferences on my setup. So still stuck with no integer mode support for DSD with MYTEK
