I can't launch HQPlayer after installing beta5 on my Windows 10 pro with Creator updates. I have uninstall and reinstall HQPlayer twice with same results. All other programs including RoonServer, AcourateConvolver, JPlay and even Kodi runs fine. Anyone here with the same issue and how do you resolve it?

Jriver WDM is a virtual sound driver. You can find out more with this link. https://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/WDM_Driver -
I'm using a PPA server and can only share my own experiences where it didn't boot. All my clocks (main board, OS SSD, and USB card) are OCXO. Events where my server couldn't boot: 1. Power sequence. My OS SSD and Music SSDs are power via external PSU. I have to power up the main board first, then the SSDs and boot up. 2. SATA cables. According to PPA, his original Red and Black SATA cables is not compatible with Windows 10. He replaces it with a new version of Black SATA. 3. Sensitive hardware. My server is super sensitive to pressure. Meaning if I didn't close up the server properly, or some parts inside has a little pressure, it won't boot up. Hope that my experiences could help. Oh! I don't know what causes it then. I'm a new AO user and it's my first run today. But all is good now except one tiny curious question. Why does the window explorer pop up at start up? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Is Kernel-Streaming not supported in Windows 10? Just installed AO today. It didn't have the option to install KS. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have 3 sets Sound Affairs Plixir Balanced AC. One for the analog equipments (3000 watts), one for digital equipments (500 watts) and one for music server (500 watts). Biggest benefit for me is no more ground loop issues. And it's super quiet even though I'm using tube amp and tube preamp. All my interconnects are unbalanced as well. Updates- Intona High Speed USB Isolator
planner replied to Blake's topic in DAC - Digital to Analog Conversion
I do have a little problem with cables though. The Konvertible Komplete cable doesn't work on the input unless I place the Regen before Intona. But the cable works on the output with or without Regen. My other USB cables (SR USB SE and AQVOX) works fine though. -

My Intona works with PPA V4 card. I received the Intona since February and have not done any firmware update. -

Cybershaft rubidium clock...low priced option?
planner replied to tboooe's topic in DAC - Digital to Analog Conversion
It's about $2,500. Output impedance is 50 ohm. But I have been using a Oyaide 75 ohm digital cable without issues. I didn't deactivate the 75 ohm termination on the Mutec as well. Quite difficult to find a high quality 50 ohm cable these days, so I just leave it as it is. -

I have been using the Sfrozato PCM-02 EX with MC-3 + with great results. Just another option for you to consider. http://en.sfz.co.jp/products/pmc/
