  1. I have a Cambridge Audio Dacmagic which has a problem with its S/PDIF coaxial input: the sound drops briefly when a light or another appliance is switched on and off, even if they are in different rooms. Optical toslink is fine. I contacted CA and was told to use the optical input instead. Didn't make sense to me if s/pdif input is available on the unit. I know I am not alone with this problem. Questions: 1. Do the latest generation of CA Dacmagic Plus have the same problem? 2. What could have caused the interference? (Note: I am using an XLO Signature coaxial cable between transport and DAC) 3. Any suggested fix?
