Hello, Anybody have the Yosemite driver for this dac. Chord electronics took them down from their website. I have emailed them 2 times and no response after a week. Tried to reach out to them on facebook and no response. Kind of disappointed that I can't use the dac and it's a paperweight. Also, if anybody had the driver it would be appreciated.

Hey thanks guys but I tried a different cable and have got no response from Chord electronics for weeks. It looks like they will not update to El Capitan driver since my dac is a discontinued product. I might have to revert back to Yosemite.

Every time I connect the dac to my MacBook Pro via usb, the computer crashes. I haven't seen any update for the dac and Yosemite seems to be the last version. I have troubleshooted it down to the driver because the USB port works with other things connected except the dac. Any suggestions would be appreciated and maybe downgrading back to Yosemite is the only answer.

Hello, I am a new forum member and also new to computer audio, I still use a CD player. I have read a lot of reviews on the Qute HD and was looking for feedback on the EX with a linear power supply. I have an EX but have not broken in it yet and it sounds awesome already. Just wondering if anybody tried a linear power supply with the EX version as the manufacturer has given the same advice to me to just use the one that came with the dac. With the EX version, DSD sounds really good and is not thin, polite or airy as some have experienced with the HD. Did a search for an EX thread and couldn't find one so I apologize if this is in the wrong thread.
