    I think I just found something interesting from Weiss Engineering, Swiss made. Their Man301, a stand alone unit with a mini-pad as control. It plays back music from USB drive storage or hard disk storage, so unlimited amount of music files. It an get online to get album artwork It also have a choice to use internal DAC or external DAC, but, USD12000. Um.. Peter

    Well, OK, what other choices do I have besides Mac and PC, iTunes, iRiver etc? Peter

    It seems right now most people are using either Mac or PC with iTunes, iRiver, Amarra etc to play digital music. Is there anything out there like a 27 inch monitor with some kind of computer that can manage a music library and play it?
