  1. No I don't have money for internet. Im using internet on my little mobile device and internet provided by my employer... If i have money for internet i would be buying more coconut milk and organic almond chocolates... These things are hugely expensive. Bunny
  2. Raw food / uncooked food from plant kingdom is best. Yes you can get more health benefit from raw than cooked, although there are some nutrients that you can get from cooked food (spinach for example) that you can't get from raw. Sometimes it's just difficult to make raw food... For you and your family, I would recommend your wife to make Korean Seaweed soup. Pick up a large jar of kimchi too. They taste pretty darn good actually. Korean Seaweed Soup Recipe - Recipe for Miyuk gook Eat with brown rice and black beans. That will take care of most of minerals you will need. It has some vitamins too. You will also get proteins from these food. For drinks I would recommend raw broccoli, carrots (bunny's favorite), and fruits (oranges, apples, etc) mixed with Chia seeds in a blender would be a good idea. 2 to 3 cups a day per person. I have stopped buying apples because 1). It's easily affected with pesticides and herbicides. 2). I ain't got money to buy apples. I'm broke. I really don't have money now... don't even have money to buy a light bulb. See my customer review here --> Amazon.com: noob's review of GE Lighting 20331 65-Watt BR30 Floodlight ... But I do have money reserved for sweets. But instead of eating poisonous, toxic waste, genetically mutated sweet pies or cookies from local grocery store, I found a website where I can have organic quality stuff that is least harmful to our body, and actually can get some nutrients from these bad boys: Organic 100% Coconut Milk (8.5oz - 6 pack) Amazon.com : 100% Coconut Milk - 8.5 oz packages (6-pack) : Grocery & Gourmet Food Organic Dark Chocolate Covered Almonds (all contents organic) - $12.99 per pound Organic Dark Chocolate Covered Almonds - Nuts.com Thanks to my friend about the coconut milk. That's an easy calorie and good fat that will help me gain some weight. Same is true for the almond chocolates. I started drinking this coconut milk 3 days ago.... and the organic almonds chocolate. They are the PERFECT combo. Tastes amazingly good. I almost passed out because they taste so good. Adding coconut milk in the coffee did not taste good, but drinking the coconut milk alone tasted AMAZINGLY GOOD, and the scent is great. Unfortunately these cost an arm and leg. They cost more than the money I used to spend on sweet pies at grocery store every week. I am concentrating on paying off my Discover card so that my minimum payment go down just enough so that I can buy these quality stuff regularly.... The almond chocolate tasted so good last night I ordered two more bags (2 x 1lb). I think I will die without these now. And good news is that I did not experience negative impact to hearing with the organic coconut milk and almonds chocolate yet.... I still consume Seaweed soup w/ rice every day, along with 2 cups of raw fruit / veggy juice and a couple of vitamin supplements. I will not be able to water my grass at all this whole summer... my lawn will turn bald.... can't afford to pay more than $25 for water bill. I won't have to worry about weeds and dandelions either because no supply of water... bunny
  3. Good point. I understand what you are getting at. I too was like that not long ago, but my life has changed, forever, for good. A lot of cable manufacturers, even at extreme prices, often distort the sound, not sounding distorting, but change the sound in ways that is different than what the music artists intended. Every time you change your cables (whether it's power cables, interconnects, RCA Coax, TRS, speaker cables, etc) the sound is changed already, and would sound different than the original recording. If the artists recording was made with all stock cables, you will probably want to stick with stock cables and stick with warm sounding albums because the high frequencies will be unbearable (harsh and distort), unless you have very analog sounding DAC's and speakers. But once I got the real power cable upgrades it changed my life forever. Let's put it this way. Using an analogy, instead of looking at an object with bare eyes, you are looking at it with a microscope, or put it in more crazy term, a telescope. You can see every dang textures and engravings, and everything else on that object. And there are cables out there that can portray all that, without harshness, and cancel out unwanted noise that you don't need in music, or sound. As a result you get the clearest and most naked sound. It's like taking all the mud out, and clean it with isopropyl alcohol. These details, are something the artists did not hear at the time of recording. With assist from high-end cables, you can hear them more clearly. This is how the playback system can sound better than the original recording of the file itself... And when you say distortion, don't forget that loss of detail and texture in music is also "distortion". Depends how you put it. Audioquest manufacturer, for example, uses this term for such reference. The spaciousness and better separation becomes available when you use telescope for music. You will notice more space in between and hear more activities, or detail. I did find a FEW songs, out of 600, that I wish it had more original intent on sound, such as the sound of instruments that are very close together and make as almost a SINGLE sound. I wasn't able to get that because my sound system spaced those elements and instruments farther apart with more details. But overall, believe it or not, the new sounds from my upgraded system sound so much better on all of the rest of recordings. It is just incredible, revealing, and rewarding, without losing any information. The music has more life too with fullness, not harsh and grainy sounding like many stock or other cheaper aftermarket cables provide. bunny
  4. Even with poor soundstage in the recording it can be "evolved" or "grow", by the use of hyper-end power cables. Bad recordings turn good recording. A good recording umm... turns even a better recording. Signal from source is constant, it doesn't change. But the power cables create / re-manufacture / alter "sound" through forms in two ways: 1). Vibrations through resonance properties in the cables themselves. Power cables make the most significant difference. 2). Noise dampening - Unwanted noise outside of 60hz, including RFI and EMI. All music has its sound stage. One may have more than the other. But with power cable upgrades the sound stage can be increased, more than what it was engraved in the recording itself. Spaciousness can also increase significantly, with more clarity and separation and textures. Power cables can get, very, very expensive. I know it's hard to believe... sounds *too* magical. But it does work. I witnessed it, as well as many other folks in the small audio community. Noise can be infested not only in the DAC's but even more so in the amplification devices. It is natural, to draw more current and give off more electrical noise in high output power. That is why I have been telling you guys to not to listen to music too loud. Once you get good hearing from good diet you won't need to listen to music loud because you can hear them well at lower volumes. bunny
  5. Young people (age from 10~ 30) don't have their brain developed for taste in music for sound qualities. Usually majority of these folks want quantity over quality. For example, very overpowering bass. The bass dominates all frequencies so you couldn't hear the fine qualities of textures and details in the mid to higher frequencies. People brag about their systems because they can show "powerful bass". This may be OK for parties for young folks in the teens. When I was young, I dig for bass. I also listened to a lot of rap songs and play Playstation I with my friends all night every weekend. Don't get me wrong, there are a small percentage of this group that may appreciate for quality rather than volume. The older you get, the more brain develops for sound. It's similar to maturity and experience in life. It's not necessarily true that hearing worsens over age. Hearing can be maintained, or become a superman with a full-time Vegan diet. bunny
  6. Walnuts is better. Look at the Omega 6 to 3 ratio. It's still not an awesome ratio, but heck a lot better than that of Almonds... Rule of thumb for safe and healthy ratio is 2:1, or 4:1 at least. Guys, I suggest you eat raw unsalted walnuts if you must eat nuts..... way, way way better than the cashew nuts he he. But still, if you want to get down to business I would suggest eating Seaweed soup if you don't want broccoli... There is a huge gain in hearing. http://nutritiondata.self.com/facts/nut-and-seed-products/3138/2 bunny
  7. I suspect I had (still may have) cancer. All this started a few years ago whose diet was fully carnivore diet and did not take care of my body. I also ate ton of sweets, more than many people can handle... I got sick and weak and had multiple cancer symptoms. Never went to the doctor for check-up or any medication. I got weak and lost significant weight. Also had few lumps (tumorous) in a part of my body. I could imagine I had cancer winning over my immune system's army. When cancer cells take over the body they steal / rob nutrients from food, so the good cells get hungry and weak. Immune systems *needs* good immune system to survive. Good cells die out, as a result the tissue / organs in the body shrink. No, I have no proof I had / have cancer because I didn't get it checked. But say what "if" I had cancer.... better to play game safe than to disregard. You can only live once, unless God supercedes it for a special reason. That's what got me started with Vegetarian diet about 1 year and 2 months ago... Good news is I feel better, not sick and weak like I used to. But it ain't helping with increasing weight. Still skinny... Got on the vegan diet about a month ago and not helping with increasing body weight yet. I need to "modify" my diet. Simply being vegetarian or vegan doesn't mean you become the human with ultimate health. These keywords are very, very vague. There are 6,647 different ways to become veggy and vegan diet, due to the various types of food you put in your mouth. It throws off equation entirely. You can still get sick becoming a veggy. You can still get sick with vegan. You just gotta get educated and learn about every single nutrients in foods out there. Learn the benefits of each food and how they impact on health. At least I am doing mostly right because I feel healthy and like a tarzan.... I feel like getting all naked at night, go outside and lift a telephone booth and run around the housing development... But anyways, while I got on veggy and vegan diet, my hearing has been improved greatly, something I didn't anticipate. I am so thankful. I am more concentrating on hearing now, don't have time for worrying about cancer. I believe organic coconut milk is the solution to get me some good fat so I can gain weight...... I hate being skinny. Yes that too, is important. But in my case I had no choice..... when I was very young there were some kids with spark gun shot right at my ear when it was dark outside. These guns, when the trigger is puled, makes very loud high pitched pop sound with spark. That's how my right ear got damaged since then. But now, with Vegan diet my hearing on the right ear is almost on par with my left one. They are almost even. I feel it's still being *repaired*, or healed. Guys, EMERGENCY, BREAKING NEWS: I just found out that eating large sum of almonds may be bad too. Look at the spec below for a cup of almonds. The n-6 PUFA to n-3 PUFA fatty acid ratio is jacked up. Eating much of this can cause inflammation. Not good. Eat a little bit, guys. bunny
  8. That article talks partially about Cashew Apples, not Cashew Nuts... I was referring to Cashew nuts that can be bought at stores in the Amazon link I provided to you. Or, check out your local grocery store.... They've got some what I am talking about. Here is a better explanation for Cashew "The bottom end of the cashew apple attaches to the cashew nut, which is encased in a shell. In botanical terms, the cashew apple is an accessory fruit that grows on the cashew seed (which is the nut)." Source: Cashew - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Cashew nuts falls in the class of nuts, or seeds, even though they grow from the trees. bunny
  9. Cashews is derived from fruit in trees. But it has two types, Cashew Apple and Cashew Nut. Cashew nuts is nuts. So I was right. I even worded right, too. Cashew - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia The cashew nuts I was referring to earlier, are these below. Amazon.com: cashews They look tasty. But they are nuts, sorry to say. bunny
  10. Thanks for your comment. Your English writing is very skilled. Are you a poet? Yes Broccoli tastes bad. I don't like it either, but I eat them anyway. Yes Cauliflower is a good alternative. Cabbage is also good. You can eat kimchi, but easy on the salt. Red hot pepper is good for you. There is a way to enjoy food containing lots of broccoli. Get a blender. - Put two small bunches of broccoli (including the stem which has just as much nutrients as the head) - Put 3 carrots - Put 3~ 4 large size oranges - 1~ 2 tablespoon of Chia Seeds Mix em good. The large quantify of oranges will kill the taste of broccoli. It will taste awesome. With 3 oranges I didn't notice much improvement in taste, but with 4 oranges, WOW. Super tasting! It tastes like orange juice! I enjoyed drinking three cups a day. Paul, I think you won't mind the taste of chia seeds. It has very neutral flavor, and is extremely healthy. I stopped buying apples because I don't have money after paying bills. The money I reserve for sweets I will get coconut milk instead. Right now I have 4 cents left in my bank account. bunny
  11. Oh well, corn and peanuts are still bad anyway. No I do not. Anything I say on forums is serious. Magnesium is good and is one of the nutrients you need to improve hearing. Cashew has magnesium, but it also has bad things like mold and fungus. They are microscopic, you can't see with your bare eyes. This doesn't help your health, and doesn't help improve hearing either. You can also get magnesium from other foods. A bunch of raw Broccoli has 32% of magnesium. Organic chia seeds also has some descent amount of magnesium. Seaweed soup has 60 or more % of magnesium. That's a lot of magnesium you can get elsewhere. You are eating cashews because you like it so much. It tastes good isn't it? But good tasting foods often are harmful because they happen to have many bad things. Usually, bad tasting foods have more nutrients. And there is a linkage between food that drives your health and hearing. They are often interlinked. Mold / fungus has some useful thing for our body, such as from Vitamin D2 that your body needs. The fungus derived from corn, peanuts, and cashews isn't. They aren't the same thing. You need salt for the body to function properly, but consuming more than recommended amount is the problem. Most people consume too much. Something else I found out is that tofu doesn't seem to help with my hearing. Seaweed and raw fruit vegetables are superior. I think I'm gonna stop consuming tofu... I ate that because it has high calcium content, but it is filled with GMO. Since I got on vegetarian diet for over a year and now a month of vegan diet my body got skinnier even though I feel very healthy and strong like Tarzan. I want to gain some weight. My friend recommended me organic coconut milk. It has a lot of good saturated fat. This will be an excellent source and vegan's dream. They are expensive. I will have to give up buying caramel apple pie and order organic coconut milk instead. I bet it tastes great too. bunny
  12. Corn might not be the best candidate for presidential election. Corn is notorious for being contaminated with fungus and mold = mycotoxin. It gives great environment for cancer cells to enjoy their stay and actually help grow... Corn drives inflammation in the body. As a result it can have negative impact to hearing. Cashews and even worse, Peanuts also drive mold and fungus. Top three worst nuts found in the world: (worst to least bad in order) 1. Corn 2. Peanuts 3. Cashew The most successful food in nuts that do not have mold and fungus and don't cause inflammation and improve health and hearing are: 1. Walnuts 2. Almonds Walnuts and Almonds are in a very different class than the other bad nuts described above. I would eat walnuts, but also these need to be unsalted. Yes, stay away from the salt. It causes inflammations too. bunny
  13. Thanks for the contribution. Good stuff. In your second link: Your third link: Good post. bunny
  14. I haven't had any ill effect from consuming pesticides in fruits and vegetables for hearing. But for health, yes you're right it's not good. Broccoli is least contaminated by pesticides. Raw Pineapple is also least affected by such poisoning. Apple is no good as it has very thin skin and the poison gets absorbed into apple. Strawberry is even worse. Peaches are bad too, they do great job absorbing poison. I would suggest eating broccoli, it has all sorts of nutrition and also has good amount of magnesium which help promotes good hearing. Carrots shouldn't be bad either. As far as GMO is concerned for fruit/veggies, I know it's bad for health, but still better to eat fruits and veggys than not eating them or replacing them with animal based diet. Organic fruits and vegetables would be best. I can't afford such because I spent all on power cables so I'm beyond broke. Don't even have money to pay all of my electric bill for months. I used to wash apples with dish soap before putting them into mixer but I stopped buying them because I can't afford them. So now, just broccoli, carrots, oranges, and chia seeds for juicing. GMO's on the rest, such as canned foods, frozen foods, pretty much majority of stuff off the shelf at groceries are bad and help you get cancer. How GMO's affect hearing I don't know yet. I don't eat much processed food nowadays since I got into Vegan diet. When I was on vegetarian diet I did have a bit of frozen foods. bunny
  15. Hi Chris, Like what Alain said people would have to be reading this thread in order to see and respond to your post. I would like to vote Yea. And to answer your question, yes, people are reading them. Whether they believe it or not is their call. I want to help out audiophiles if I can. There is a hope. If you eat more good food than bad food, the good food can dominate with good nutrients into your body, as a result you can have better health and hearing. Seaweed soup (if you eat large amount each time) with rice can fight off sweet pie or cookies more easily and quickly. It lasted me 6~ 8 hours to fight off. I would recommend try eating Seaweed soup everyday, and add some chia seeds. It is extremely healthy food. You can eat the ice cream cone late at night right before jumping to bed. Thanks for enjoying reading my posts. All these are my honest posts. Vegan diet is amazing. I've been on this diet for over 2 weeks now. I feel so healthy and strong I felt like going outside butt naked, lift a telephone boot and run around the block. bunny
