  1. Thanks pooger! Will definately try it. "It seems like no matter what database you use, there's still a lot of editing to be done" Agreed, but hoping that I can find at least one database that minimizes this as far as possible. "I just started using kid3 for that. It has multiple database choices." Do you know if AMG is amongst these?
  2. Thanks! Have not tried dBp for a while; my ripstation consist of four Macs and I have been trying to avoid having to run them all as virtual machines.. Knowing that AMG works well with dBp makes this worth considering though.
  3. Does anyone have any ideas on whether XLD can be used with other databases than freeDB or musicbrainz? And if so, how to do it? I have over 3000 classical CD's to rip and the lack of proper and consistent metadata for classical music is a challenge.. The Kaleidescape system really seems to be doing a pretty good job and uses the All Music Guide, but I have no idea if it is possible to integrate AMG-based data with XLD for ripping. I have searched high and low on the forums for answers but could not find any. If I missed something please let me know. Thanks!
