  1. I got my LSR308's in the mail Friday. They're a lot bigger then what I expected, I read the wrong size. I like the quality of them so far and my friend KRK Rokkit wants to buy them from me. I quite happy with my purchase but I just have to buy better cables.
  2. I went ahead and ordered 2 JBL LSR308's, but do you think I need to order any extra cables or is what comes with them good enough?
  3. I feel like I'm being a nuisance, but I'm wondering if anyone feels that I should wait for some Airmotiv 6's or just go ahead and buy the JBL LSR 308. These are my top choices and it's hard for me to choose.
  4. I'm really liking what I see about the JBL's he recommended but I just have to wait a couple of weeks since I just bought my monitor and the car note is coming up.
  5. I have an off topic question as well. Do you think it's worth converting audio into a different format? If so, can you give me some recommendations for what software to use? I have about 18,000 songs.
  6. No SLI yet. When the graphics card I bought goes down some more then I will. Here's a look at my component list. I just bought my monitor today so I hope to buy my speakers within the next month or so. Thanks for the advice and the link
  7. Thanks. I'll definitely look into them. I rather do some research and find other products to compare them to before I just jump on them.
  8. They'll be on a desk next to my monitor. They're for when I'm at my computer and the entire room (my room is pretty small since I live in a barracks). I'm guessing they'll be near as well.
  9. I plan on buying my monitor in the next few weeks or so, but I need speakers to go along with it. I was going to buy some cheap speakers but I have the Asus Maximus VI Formula, which has a built in sound card, that I need to take advantage of. I've read that if you have a sound card and you don't use good speakers that you've pretty much wasted your money. I'm a noob when it comes to quality speakers I've been looking into some speakers recently and my first reaction was to buy the Logitech Z623, but I don't know if that's going to work well with my Mobo for good quality. I've done some more research recently and I really like the Emotiva Airmotiv 5 but they're rarely stock and very hard to find. So I was wondering if anyone knew any speakers that would help me take advantage of my Mobo around the $400 price range. I'll even go out on the limb and possibly spend $450. I plan on using my computer for gaming, video editing, and listening to music. Is it also necessary to spend $400+ for good quality speakers?
