I recently got to listen to some old Boston Acoustics A100s. I really liked them not sure why. The highs were just very detailed yet smooth. I'm looking for some BA A70s instead of biting the bullet on so,etching really expensive. This might get rid of my upgrade bug. I found a pair but the foams were redone around the woofer and appear to be a little sloppily done. Will this effect the sound quality or just more of an appearance issue.

Thanks for the input. I could keep the Klipsch in the common area and the new pair in my own room. Your right the klipsch can definitely scream but it's definitely fatiguing when casually listening.

What is V-Stable imaging

Glad to hear you like them. I am greatly considering either the sierra-1 or the cmt-340. I don't really want to spend more than $600 so I am leaning toward the 340s. What cabinet finish did you get out of curiosity?

So right now the list is B&W 685, quad 12L2, or b&w 704 (edit: these might be too big) If I get any of these would you guys sell the klipsch or hang onto them?

I will definitely look into those. I don't mind spending more as long as it's worth it. I'm sure it is.
