  1. SACD not recognized message Hello. After successfully ripping a number of SACDs, I've started getting the following message after inserting valid SACDs: "The current disc is empty or not recognized as an SACD, please reinsert". I believe another user mentioned this issue earlier in the thread - it wasn't clear what the solution is, though I recall a mention of installing an earlier version of the firmware. The unit continues to play SACDs without a problem. Any current thoughts on this issue? Many thanks.
  2. I was in the process of tracking down a few Dizzy Reece CDs and came across a recently released multi-disc set from Acrobat. Looks compelling on the surface - access to generally out-of-print music at a low price. I've seen similar multi-disc sets issued by other "budget" labels, i.e. Real Gone Jazz. I would appreciate thoughts re: sound quality from anyone who has purchased music issued by these labels. Thanks!
  3. FYI - I used a Sony controller and the recovery menu mode installation went fine.
  4. Question re: custom firmware installation: I have version 3.55 on my PS3, so I assume that I need to do a recovery menu mode installation (per the ripping guide). When going into recovery menu mode, there is a message to plug in the controller and hit the PS button. I have a 3rd party controller; when I hit the equivalent PS button, nothing happens, and I cannot progress beyond this screen. Any thoughts on the potential problem? Controller-related? Thanks!
  5. Ted - new member of CA just embarking on SACD ripping. Can you please forward the PM. Many thanks!
