  1. Actually my question is: how can I wirelessly hi-res files from iMac to the DAC maintaining the original file resolution?
  2. Thank you for your replies. My system is composed by iMac+HQPlayer wireless connected with my airport express, the optical output of the airport express is connected to my DAC in the spdif optical input. My DAC is a AK4490 chip based and it is able to manage hi-res files up to 32/348 and DSD as well. Currently I would avoid to use wired connection, I mean USB cable, since my iMac is 10 meters far from the DAC. Though I can play all my files whatever resolution they are since HQPlayer downsampling the files to 16/44 due to Airport Express bottleneck, I'd like to wirelessly hi-res files to my DAC with same resolution the files are. If it isn't possible through the Airport Express optical output res limit, I might use a wireless USB connection. Do you have any suggest, please?
  3. Hi, I have an iMac too far from my DAC and I'd like to wirelessly my hi-res audio files. I have been using an Airport Express but the resolution is always limited to 16/44. Could you suggest something useful for? I'd like to stream hi-reas audio file up to 24/96 or higher. In addition, if I would use USB connection instead of optical one, is there any similar solution? Thank you so much to everybody!
