Is there any difference in terms of audio quality between an integrated audio card on the motherboard or a regular sound card? I know this issue has probably been debated before and I apologize for the redundancy. I have RealTek integrated sound on the motherboard and was trying to save a few bucks when I got this system.

Thanks guys for all your input. I figured that if I couldn't get help in a forum like this that specializes in these type of problems, then there's no hope for me. Thanks guys.

Thanks Chris for your input. I just have regular speakers/subwoofer system connected to the the two audio ports in the back of the PC, 5.1/7.1 channel audio configuration. I don't have headphones so I haven't tried that avenue yet. Thanks

What's up guys? I have a problem that is annoying the heck out of me. I have a PC with a Gigabyte X58-Ud7 mobo, an integrated sound card, RealTek HD audio. Every time I stream video music from Utube, or play mp3 audio songs, or even play CD music, I keep hearings these clicks and pops in the background. It is so frustrating that I can't narrow down where the problem lies. I've tried everything: updated the drivers, flashed the bios, but to no avail, don't know if it's a hadware or software related issue. But I keep hearing these clicks and pops. So frustrating. I have two speakers and a sub woofer connected to the PC so these clicks and pops sounds are amplified. Any input from any of you, techno savvy guys it's greatly appreciated.
