  1. Hey guys, You can check this Daphile test on Hifi PC Guide (French) The english version via google translate is available here : Daphile Review Thanks,
  2. Hi everyone ! New blog post on HifiPCGuide.com about how to your music library : Comment sauvegarder sa musique (French) --> http://hifipcguide.com/2014/01/comment-sauvegarder-sa-musique/ English (With Google translate) : http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=fr&sl=fr&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fhifipcguide.com%2F2014%2F01%2Fcomment-sauvegarder-sa-musique%2F Hope you like it !
  3. Hi everyone, My contribution : i built a diy NAS which is also a HTPC running windows 7 64bits (i3/8gb/SSD, picopsu, you can't hear it at all) integrated in an old 1930 radio station. Music is stored on a 4TB harddrive and weekly replicated to another 4TB plugged on the same PC via Sata 3 ports. I also have a dedicated laptop with a 1tb internal drive which also contains the entire library.
  4. Haven't seen 1tb ssd yet! it's pricey but it's the ultimate solution for an audiophile solution : very fast access times, very low power consumption, reliable, absolutely no noise or heat, and of course 1tb to store your entire music collection : it's just amazing. Merry christmas everyone!
  5. Have you guys noticed any improvement about audio quality by using SSDs? I mean it's of course more speedy but if you have a dedicated computer for playing music i'd rather get a 1tb hard drive for the same range of price.
  6. Thanks Jud but isn't a little too small for storing audio files? My library is about 600gb approx !
