    Dear Mathias and flat map thank you for your replies I do not use any driver - as far as i am concerned - i use a Mac with Amarra installed and my DAC is an Bel canto RefLink connected to a Bel canto 2.5 DAC. Is this information helpful? Sincerely Peter

    Dear members just a simple and stupid question If you are feeding your DAC/amplifier via an asynchronous USB connection from a mac computer are you then supposed to be able to control the volume of your system "directly" from the volume control on you computer keyboard? Sincerely Peter (lm)
