  1. Hello. They recently put Chaka Khan Warner studio album collection at HDTracks. Available in 192/24 and 96/24 with the exception of C.K. (which is in 48/24) and The Woman I Am (which is in 44.1/16 - probably because of the now obsolete 44.1/16 digital recording system that was used at the time the album was made - like 90125 by Yes and 5150 by Van Halen). Unfortunately, no chance to download particular albums, only the whole bunch. Anyone has any listening experience already, please? (Sorry for the bad English.)
  2. At least we (can) have complete Herbie Hancock on Columbia in 96/24 from HDtracks and/or Acoustic Sounds. :-)
  3. I 100% agree with you and I thank you for appending to my thread. And to append to you: what about Michael Franks? :-) Yeah, definitely: Franks, Benson (I would like all his WB albums from Breezin to Love Remembers), Jarreau (the same) and Sanborn would be fine. And of course, another one of my dreams (unfortunately unlike to come true) Earl Klugh on Warner in HD (at least 96/24)!
  4. Hello there. I wonder why Warners stopped releasing further albums by Prince in 192/24 at the HDtracks. They released first 8 from "For You" to the "Parade" soundtrack, but now, when it definitely seemed to be going maybe a bit more interesting (with "Sign Of The Times", "Lovesexy", "Black Album" etc.), they suddenly stopped it. Or they just took a short break? Any thoughts, please?
  5. Yeah, different signs but obviously the same problem. Thanks for sharing, pal.
  6. As for yesterday, my complete wishlist has gone at the HDtracks site. Anyone with the same experience? When I tried to restore it from what I remembered, it was impossible. It would always keep only one album, the current one that I entered. Strange. I am slowly about to lose my patience with that site.
  7. Unfortunately, as you can see, there is no option to pick particular albums. The HDtracks made the same funny trick again as with the Yes Studio Albums - you can download all or nothing at all. :-( I suppose I am going to wait until they make available to download the individual albums (I mean albums that I do not already have in HD as 192/24 HDtracks downloads /almost complete Yes with exception of Drama, 90125 and Fragile/ or on Japan SACDs /Black Sabbath sans Sabotage, Technical Extasy and Never Say Die/). I simply do not want to pay for something that I already have paid for.
  8. I would say they (HDtracks) have different policy, so they are making available the new HH downloads gradually. The newest one is Sunlight and I believe with time there will be all of them available at the site. It is OK with me, I can always wait for another 192/24 album of Wayne Shorter, Chicago, Prince or Joni Mitchell at HDtracks, but I wanted to have all Herbie Hancock albums at once, when they were available at Acoustic Sounds. I hope, sooner or later they will make also the 96/24 albums of Miles Davis (all of his Columbia and Warner Bros 80s releases), Weather Report and Warner Bros' George Benson available - that would be another dream come true for me! :-)
  9. Hello, the sequence of the tracks after downloading is exactly as the CD or vinyl, not in the reverse sequence. Nevertheless, even in case of reverse sequence, you would always be able to rename/renumerate the tracks, ain't you? Regarding the DR value, I am afraid I have no means for measuring it, or - at least - I do not know how to do it. I downloaded all of the Herbie Hancock 96/24 downloads and in my ears it sounds way better than I heard from any vinyl or CD releases by HH that I happened to have during last 40 years. Oh, BTW, I am afraid, no coupons at Acoustic Sounds (none that I know). But I never used any of them at HDTracks either. I always forgot to apply it during the process of ordering and payment. :-)
  10. Yeah, that is right, but I forgot to mention Fragile since I already have the Japan SACD (the first issue, not the High Vibration box). Nevertheless, if HDTracks would offer Fragile on 192/24, I would like to D/L it either.
  11. Hi, recently I downloaded almost all the Herbie Hancock 70s and 80s Columbia releases in HD from Acoustic Sounds. I already own all of them as CDs, mostly Japanese MasterSound remasters, but somehow these new downloads sound way crispier and better to my ears, through my vintage tube amp and big Klipsch speakers (I made DVD-A discs out of the downloads). I am glad that Feets Don't Fail Me Now has the original LP version of "Tell Everybody" (with Fender Rhodes solo and different drum sound) as bonus track. Overall, a great release! Anyone else happy with it? :-)
  12. Hello, I'd bet these are the same. No bonus tracks, unlike the 44.1/16 boxed CD release, this seems to be the HDTracks, bundled. Wonder if they ever put Drama to D/L separately. It is part of the "Studio Albums 1969-1987" release but separate download is unavailable. Step by step I bought all the Yes 192/24 downloads, including Yessongs and Yesshows. Missing only Drama. They would make me immensely angry, if they let Drama download only as a part of the whole box with no option of separate download.
  13. Thank you very much, I already did it exactly by numbers! All the items are already in my cart. Guys, you helped me quite immensely! I am very grateful to you.
