  1. I own a U1 Mini and experienced a Network Error only once, soon after adding the EtherREGEN a few days ago. I rebooted the Telecom Box, Router, EtherREGEN and Lumin U1 and this solved the issue. 3 days later everything is working smoothly and... boy oh boy am I enjoying music with the EtherREGEN/U1 Mini/Dave combo!!! I have 2 cat 6 cables on the A side of the ER (1 from the router, 1 to PC) and a 50cm Ugreen Cat7 shielded cable from ER to U1 Mini. I want to change the 2 CAT6 cables on the A side of the ER with THIS, which will help the positioning of the switch on my desktop as the cables are much softer. I hope this won't introduce any issues.
  2. Sorry to interrupt, I just wanted to mention that I'm selling mine which I purchased new in March 2018 (yes, 2 months old). I tried to open a thread on the For Sale section but something is not working. Also, I have a long and excellent seller feedback on another forum so if you are interested I will give you all the details in PM. To contribute more proactively to this thread I am happy to answer questions as this is the second sPS-500 I bought and tried with different devices. Thanks, Dom
  3. Sorry for the interruption, I just put up for sale my AQVOX AQ-SWITCH-SE purchased in Feb 2018, PM if interested. I changed gear and my new DAC runs better when connected via optical directly to the laptop, so all the streaming components became redundant. Sorry again for posting here but my ad is on another forum where I have a long and excellent selling history. Cheers.
  4. You're absolutely right mozes, but on this forum I have never sold anything and have no seller feedback. On another well known forum I have an excellent reputation so it's easier to sell object worth several K$. Sorry again for this.
  5. Apologies for the interruption, I am selling my pristine SOtM sMS-200ultra, tX-USBultra and sPS-500 trio bought in August/September 2017. Contact me privately if you are interested.

  7. Yea I did and yes what counts is how it sounds however it doesn’t hurt to match what I hear with the technical side of it. I’m an engineer, I can’t help it! Lol
  8. Thanks for the heads up, I will write to the manufacturer to ask the question.
  9. Checking in as I just ordered an HDPlex 200W to power my Uptone moddedd Mac Mini and Netgear EX7000 bridge.
  10. Thanks Alan. Regarding the risk of direct connection the HDPlex 200W has separated ground for each output rail, which means there is no cross RFI/EMI interference. If that is what you referred to...
  11. Can someone tell me what is the current draw of the AQ-SWITCH-SE or AQ-SWITCH-8? I just bought an HDPlex LPS to feed my modded Mac Mini and the WiFi bridge (Netgear EX7000) and I want to check if I can plug in also my AQ-SWITCH-SE using the 5V DC out of the HDPlex.
  12. Hi, I am looking for a low noise linear power supply for my Netgear EX7000 WiFi bridge feeding the network player. I need 12V, 2.5A any suggestions?
  13. I just bought the same "extender" (EX7000) to substitute a powerline ethernet adapter and am super happy about the change. After familiarising a bit with the setup page I deactivated both WiFi transmission channels (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) so the only thing the thing does now is get the wifi signal from the router and send it to the wired ethernet output connected to the Network Player. I guess that by doing so I also cut completely the risk of having the WiFi signal output by the EX7000 interfere with the rest of the equipment.
  14. About adding the tX-USBultra to the sMS-200ultra: LINK In the meantime I have also substituted the powerline ethernet adapter with a WiFi bridge (Netgear EX7000) and the improvements are clearly audible (detail, reduced harshness even with the more difficult tracks, bass "richness"). So in the case of the AQ-SWITCH SE the quality of the input signal did matter.
