  1. Thanks all for the info. At the moment i am starting and hibernating with my Logitech k400 keyboard but i will try these other options.
  2. fantastic start up. Is it possible to get a picture of what is on the computer on the theater screen/ipad to allow full shutdown. (I want to get away from using a computer screen)
  3. I am running windows 8.1 and when i start up i wish to avoid the start up screen and go straight to the JRiver media centre so i can control it with JRemote on my ipad. Has anyone done this? Also how would i shut down the program and computer?
  4. Would i need jremote with jplay.
  5. Does Jremote communicate with a wireless card in the streamer or the router. If it is the wireless card which are good?
  6. Are you saying that whatever is on a laptop for example would be seen on the ipad? If so then this is ideal because the program does not interfere with jriver media player software and it is cheap.
  7. Is it better than the $9 remote.
  8. Which ipad remote would you recommend with jriver?
  9. I have a sonos system and use the free sonos ipad app which is as good as it gets. My music back up is on my laptop where i down loaded the jriver software last week. The jriver is much better and i think i will build a computer to use with an ipad app instead of sonos, the difference is massive.
  10. If all that is required is a remote for jriver then $99 appears expensive when Computer Audiophile - JRemote The iOS remote for JRiver Media Center Review costs $9 which sounds more like it.
