  1. Hi LarBo, Just put a # at the beginning of the line to comment that line out. Damian
  2. Hi AudioDoctor, Sorry that you're having issues with the script. One thing I'd suggest is that you try the script on a fresh install of Yosemite rather than an upgraded OS. All testing that we've done with the script so far has been on a fresh Yosemite install on formatted drives. Hope that helps, Damian
  3. Hi alcarp, It has not been tested with JRiver but that's not to say that it won't. As always ensure you make a backup first just in case. Damian
  4. Hi All, We have uploaded a new version of the CAD Optimization script which is compatible with OSX 10.10 Yosemite. The code has been cleaned up a bit to make it more readable, and some lines have been removed that were stopping Yosemite from booting. As with the previous versions the use of the script is completely at your own risk. I would strongly recommend making a backup of your Mac before using the optimization script. The script is available from the Computer Audio Design website and can be downloaded here: Computer Audio Design » OSX Audio Optimization Please let us know how you get on. Damian
  5. Hi Ric, No problem. I would say however that if you haven't already set your Windows partition up I would get that done with Boot Camp before running the script in case it causes any issues for you. Damian
  6. Hi Ric, 1 - When you say WinOS do you mean Windows running via Boot Camp? If so then yes, the script only alters the mac installation which you are booted into, so if you have a separate partition for Windows that will be unaffected. 2 - Unfortunately no, some of the changes that the script makes are global in terms of the Mac OS and will therefore affect all users. Thanks, Damian
  7. Hi Krzysztof, We have not tested the script on 10.7.5, - only 10.8 and 10.9. If you are going to try it with 10.7 please make a full backup first as it could well leave your system in an un-bootable state. Also I would suggest answering no when it asks you if you want to disable Daemons and Agents. Once again, the script has NOT been tested on 10.7.5 so please back up first if you're going to try it. Thanks, Damian
  8. Hi Christian, Sorry to hear you're having trouble with the script. It'll be difficult to troubleshoot your particular problem unfortunately, as I've not heard of that issue up until now. Did you try not disabling the System Launch Daemons as well as the System Launch Agents? A few people have had problems with screen sharing but on the whole I think it's working for most, so hopefully your shouldn't have any issues. Thanks, Damian
  9. Hi Pocobear, I believe the culprit in the BitPerfect case is the following line: launchctl unload -w /System/Library/LaunchAgents/com.apple.scopedbookmarkagent.xpc.plist 2>/dev/null Either comment it out or when you run the script, or just answer no when asked if you want you want to disable LaunchAgents. Let me know how you get on. Damian
  10. I'm having a little trouble replicating the MIDI problem. Could you please let me know what version of the script you ran, and what version of OSX you are running? Thanks.
  11. Hi, MIDI isn’t something that we’ve looked at to date in relation to the script, but we will certainly check it out and let you know. Thanks for trying it and letting us have the feedback. Thanks, Damian
  12. Hi Pocobear, What error are you seeing when you try to open iTunes? Thanks, Damian
  13. Hi Flo, Firstly, please ensure that you have a full backup of your Mac before you run the script. To run the script, simply double-click on the OptimizeOSX v1.2.2.command script and it will run. It will ask you for your password before it will run and also ask you a few other questions as it runs through. As a first run you may want to answer no when it prompts you to turn off Launch Daemons and Launch Agents. You could re-run the script later on and turn these off if need be. It’s best to reboot your Mac after running the script. I hope the script works well for you and improves the listening experience on your Mac. Damian
  14. Hi Luke, Good to hear that things are stable now. Indeed Apple Software Update is an issue with the script that we'll be looking at for the next version. Will let you know when we have an update ready. Thanks, Damian
