  1. So which one do you listen to most and could you explain the differences? The D1-Dual is Totaldacs bottom of the line dac they make.
  2. Everybody says it sounds beautiful what do you mean by that? Is it airy is it transparent is it foot tapping?
  3. Has anyone had any experience listening to this dac. Please comment.
  4. You will not be able to upgrade in the Scala in the future?
  5. Is the Voce better than Scala II. Even though it is cheaper?
  6. This is the same thing i have been saying for years. I have nice expensive gear and for the right price i would buy a berk or maybe a Lampi, totaldac. I am not going to pay retail for none of them.
  7. Interesting comments, i have to agree on lots of what you say there. How long do you have to wait until a regular dacs catch the Berk?
  8. I don't know if this is the thread for this maybe you should start a new one, but DEQX would be interesting to hear!
  9. I totally agree. I understand what it cost to run a business but to stay in business you have to sell product unless its a hobby or side business. This is such a small market of goods. There are some incredibly good dacs under 6000 and 3500 for that matter. I dont want to get any further off topic because I really want to hear how good that 16k dac is:)
  10. Bottom line the price of a lot of high end products is asinine, spin it as you may, but the secondary market speaks for itself!!! *Meaning in correlation of how good it sounds which is a personnel preference. Now Berkeley dacs have done well at holding value (especially for dacs) because of how they run their business and their sound for $. Secondary market tells a lot of what things should sell for.
  11. Has anyone compared Totaldac with the Big 7 Lampi? Or has heard both and can give some evaluations.
  12. Totaldac uses one in their server. d1-server-int.jpg
