    Does this imply that the rip from the origianl CD has more DR than than the HDT file? So no real value from the 24bit wordlength? Thanks...still learning about this...

    If I understand the spectogram corectly (I'm a noob) there is nothing above about 30kHz, so no reason to spend the extra $5 on the 192kHz version, correct? The 24/96 would be able to handle all the frequencies. I am missing something here?
