  1. Ok- writing with experience of successes now! Whilst the initial rip may be quite quick, phile audio takes a while to convert the aiff files to your preferred formats. So, don't turn off your computer until the temp folder is empty. (After copying about 20 CDs last night I left my laptop on all night and found the temp folder empty in the morning.) Sometimes, the app seems to lose the destination folder and the converted files don't arrive. I work round this by creating a new folder and pointing the app to this. It's also useful for checking your work as you go along without ploughing through countless titles.
  2. yes, happened to me last night - a full evenings work not saved. It could be that I'm saving to a NAS drive over wifi and the connection got lost .... I've just checked the temp folder (Phile Audio writes .aiff files first to a temp folder and then converts to as many of the different formats as you have chosen. About 10 of my CDs are there but not in my destination folder. And I have no idea how to get them converted and across. I'm hoping that my ripping further CDs might prompt the conversion process to restart. Will keep you posted.
