I got my Tambaqui in Feb 2021. Never looked back. From what I remember, it took quite a while until the DAC reached his true potential. Definitely more than a month. I too, retired a HQPlayer setup.

I have 2 connections activated into my Tamabaqui. First: Roon, Nucleus+ via Etherregen into Tambaqui. Second: Etherregen (B-A) into Optical Rendu to USB Tamabaqui. My preferred streaming Service (HRA) is not available via Roon, therefor I use Audirvana Studio. I did my setup a year ago, where I experimented a lot with different stuff, like cables, clocks etc. Etherregen was a keeper for me. One needs to test it for oneself. Don't know if it is available anymore, due to the supply chain problem.

I decided to take year 1 with Studio as a beta run. @Dandou I suggest you do the same. I want Audirvana Studio to grow to stability. We need an alternative to Roon. Therefor I keep supporting it.

I have the same issue when streaming HRA

I love streaming HRA and Qobuz with HQP. What a generous gift. Excellent @Miska, excellent work.

I worked through the book in recent weeks to get a basic understanding of Acourate. Then I hired Mitch for creating filters. This has been the best investment I made. Complete disruptive listening experience. Highly recommended.

Remote does not work for HRA streaming. HRA is ok when played directly from the Mac. Remote works for Qobuz. I use an IPad Pro to control the Audirvana Studio remote app.

It's no big deal. Just follow the instructions and add a PC restart after you uninstalled Audirvana 1.3. The whole process takes just a couple of minutes.

Happens here too. After about 10 min, hick ups start. I don't use up sampling. I have a powerful win 10 PC, which has no issues with HQPlayer and Roon.
