In for Mac-compatible. I have ISOs of my SACDs, but this will provide insurance by enabling me to re-rip them should I lose the ISO files. Un/fortunately, it will likely cause me to resume buying SACDs. -
Thank you, vortecjr, for your forum message this morning. I've spent the past half hour trying to draft a polite but firm response to that onslaught. The 'firm' part was working, but I was having to do a lot of editing and rewriting as I attempted to make it polite. You were only doing the right thing, I know, but you saved me from trouble and aggravation, both in writing a reply and from the unproductive scrap that likely would have followed.

Dear Johnwilk Have you tried using a USB hub between your DAD and your Mac Mini? This cures popping on some older Macs (like mine). Some people recommend a powered hub, but an unpowered portable USB 2.0 hub works fine for me.
