  1. same problem here on WOWs cable modem with Tidal stopping after a few songs
  2. anyone compare these devices and comment on improvements?
  3. Yes, Wayne at Bolder did it. You might want to talk to Modwright. If Dan isn't real busy maybe he would do it but thats just a guess. Put out a wanted ad for a tech and maybe you will find someone with the qualifications.
  4. Bolder modded Elpac with ByBee music rails added is what I used with my Bolder modified Touch. The PS made a very noticeable upgrade. I really noticed the change after the ByBees were added but they are costly.
  5. Extra power supply is SOLD Whats left: Green Regen (cased) + Breezy 9V Linear Power Supply- $85 shipped
  6. Excellent condition. No longer use as I went wireless. $95 shipped/paypaled USA/Canada 26 feet 3 inches
  7. Price drop: Regen Green (cased) w/Breezy 9V Linear Power supply $100 shipped USA Extra 9V Linear Power Supply $50 shipped USA
  8. Sorry, it was returned to Intona for a refund before I got my new DAC. Now that I have a new DAC I needed another one and just found one myself. I saw a Intona (standard version) for sale on Audiocircle.com You might check there
  9. The Intona is probably a little better than the Regen but it costs more. I never compared them, though.
  10. The Regen works well with the Geek Pulse products. I used dual Regens (one at source output and one at dac input) with my Pulse Infinity. I thought I heard a slight improvement adding the second one in. The primary one at the DAC input made a very worthwhile improvement. A definite step up in sonic quality.
  11. The Green version was the original version. Uptone found that by adding a few more ohms of ground resistance and changing the circuit slightly that they could get even better overall results. The bass characteristics changed slightly (a little less bass in my opinion) but that was the only audible difference I heard. They officially revised the circuit and called it the Amber (the Green had a green LED and the revised version an Amber LED). There is more on the exact details of the revision on the Computer Audiophile Website if you want to go through the thread on it ut it is very long. Bottom line is they are really quite similar and both do a fantastic job matching impedance and improving sonics The LPS were both bought from China on Ebay for about $75 each shipped. I found the Regens don't improve my new DAC, a Chord Hugo mainly because of the circuit architecture and the use of the resistor based ladder DAC. I am going to retry the Intona, which provides better galvanic isolation, instead.
