    Do you have a hard drive or USB hub connected to your Touch? I had the same insufficient power problem (my setup was Touch with EDO -> USB Hub -> DAC). Turned out the USB Hub I was using was drawing too much power, more than what iUSB can deliver. I changed my USB HUB and presto! My Touch powered up.
