  1. I have tried other ports, other computers, still the same thing. I am working with AMR to see what the issue could be. Does not happen with my other DACs (same cables). I am sure they will figure it out. They have been really helpful thus far in troubleshooting. B
  2. I spoke too soon. It appears that I still get the noise with the supplied USB cable. Hmmm... back to testing... B
  3. All, I am having a strange condition and I was hoping to see if anyone has ever seen it before. I am running a Mac Mini (Audirvana Plus 1.5.10) via USB to a AMR DP-777. Whenever I use an AudioQuest Cable (either 3 meter AQ Cinnamon or 1.5 meter AQ Carbon - I figured the 3 meter cable was too long, so I switched the the 1.5 meter AQ Carbon) I get a ticking/popping sound randomly during playback (no matter the source file, type -192K, 88K, 44.1k, etc). The best way I can think to describe it is the noise you would get from a dirty vinyl playback. When I swap to the USB cable that came with the AMR-DP777 the noise goes away. I have a call into the US distributor of the AMR-DP777 to see if they have seen anything in the past, but in the mean time I figured I would check here. thanks, B
