select DAC output

Oidos posted a topic in DAC - Digital to Analog Conversion

I am not sure if this is the correct forum for this question. I am using a Halide HD USB DAC with a Sony Laptop running Windows 7-64 and using JRiver MC19. When playing high res tracks, it is necessary to open the control panel and manually change the DAC output [ie: 16-44.1 to 24-96]. Is there a more efficient way to do this. The laptop has a couple to short cut buttons that are assignable but they will not run a control panel applet [.cpl file]. Thanks
