  1. I successfully updated my license to 3.5, but when I tried to update the software it attempted a music library conversion. That failed. It raises the question if my disk is full? But is not. I winnowed my drive down to 347 gig used with 652 gig available. Any ideas? I did not read the thread so I might have missed the answer.
  2. I am trying to stream Queen on Qobuz mobile. I keep getting errors that Qobuz does not have rights to stream it. Is there a way around this or is the catalog very limited? For example if i search on Queen, this is what happens when I try to play.
  3. I have been listening/watching a few You Tubes lately and came to the realization that this is a really good band that I somehow never got added to my music collection. So where should I start? What ar the best albums?
  4. Re: the phone home license issue (non-issue for me). Maybe a compromise is to require some number of successful checks (say 10) prior to making a permanent association between user and license.
  5. Here is more info on my request for info on backing up my playlist structure. I point A+ at my iTunes library but I don't use the iTunes integration or iTunes sync. It looks from my A+ preferences that the A+ database is listed as users/xxxxxx/application Support/Audirvana. Do I just back up this folder? And if I loose my playlists, will I just need to repoint A+3.0 to thid backup? A+libary.tiff A+playlists.tiff
  6. Is there a straight-forward tutorial on backing up your Audirvana library prior to upgrading to 3.0 (not the music itself but the indexing/playlist structure). In a previous upgrade I lost all my playlists and I don't want to repeat that.
  7. And not one word about Muddy Waters or other blues influences. I need to go check out Duane Eddy.
  8. I have a mac mini which I control via a separate controller Mac using VNC screen sharing. I find that often I lose the connection to the Mac Mini in Finder on the controller Mac if I have not used it in a couple days. When this happens, I have to go into the mini with my TV as wired monitor, and play with the preferences/sharing until the connection is re-established. As much as I like fiddling with computers, sometimes this is just too much hassle. Any ideas on how to keep the connection alive all the time?
  9. Totally agree. I don't give a hoot about another music library tool, but am waiting for the store. Since this is not the store, no interest.
  10. If I could not find Bob Dylan, I would change software.
  11. Upgraded today. Really disappointed to find all my playlists gone after the upgrade. i don't want to be an expert on how this software works to use it. I just want it to work. I have my music organized by albums under artist and under genre like alternative, blues, classical etc and the high level folders are there but the slower level playlists are not.
  12. You did not say much about the integrated DAC. How do you think the DAC in the Peachtree Nova 300 compares to an Ayre QB9? I have the QB9 and enjoy it, but need to upgrade my amp. Are the DAC's specs the same between the 150 and the 300?
  13. Check out https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204668 I'd start with doing a Command-I on one of your tracks and see where the index is pointing. You can't just copy the iTunes folder, you have to let itunes rebuild your .xml index file so it points to the new location.
  14. Too cool; dogs, bicycles, computer audio. All in the same place.
  15. I thought setting the default audio source (HDMI or Toslink) was a function of Audio Midi. Are you checking the Audio Midi utility? I'd stick with Toslink for music if that is your priority. I find that my DAC using USB stays as the source unless my TV is on and then it switches to HDMI.
