thanks for your reply . Ihink i will use my preamp on the integrated amp to control the main volume .

i have an Antelpoe audio zodiac dac connected to an integrated amp . When i use the volume control on the Dac preamp section do i have to turn it to maximum and control the overall volume with the integrated amp volume knob ? If not what would be the correct way to control volume in this setup ?
