  1. Hi - first post here on what looks like a very interesting forum! I´d like some input on recording hi-resolution files from the radio. I currently use a Naim NAT01 (FM), and record using a Denon F450R, to 16 bit / 48kHz resolution. I use Fission to edit the files. The quality is fine, and I have quite a large archive going back several years (mainly of contemporary classical and jazz live broadcasts). I´m very interested in the Tascam DA-3000, which can apparently record to 24bit / 192kHz, and even DSD, both 2.8224MHz and 5.6448MHz. The attraction is to build up a collection of recordings of music which I like - many of the hi-res recordings available aren´t - which is also of very high quality. Do others here do this? If so, what format do you use? Would you hold an archive in PCM or DSD? Is it possible to edit DSD files in the same way as PCM (ie, relatively simple splicing)? And would you use the Tascam DAC for playback of the files, or a different DAC?
