  1. I made a mistake: I have Hiface Two, not Hiface One! With Hiface Two and Pure Music, when you choose Hog Mode first, you can choose Integer Mode. Eneasilvio
  2. Update: Apologize, I made a mistake. The Hiface I have, is model Two. I thougt that it was Hiface One. The difference between model Two and One: Hiface Two can do without an extra driver. That will be the reason that my Hiface works without any problem in Mavericks. I am sorry for the inconvenience of my earlier remark. Eneasilvio
  3. M2Tech's warning on their site: http://www.m2tech.biz/hiface.html, Eneasilvio
  4. Hiface 1 in my system is not directly connected to Mac Mini but to a dedicated hub, Anker, that is powered. The hub is connected to Mac Mini with an cable that came with the Anker hub, and with coax to my Arcam rDac. Yesterday I upgraded to Mavericks and there are no problems till now. I use Pure Music and now I can use in the audio settings of Pure Music the Integer Mode. To my ears it sounds better than before in Mountain Lion, Eneasilvio
  5. Updated yesterday from Mountain Lion to Mavericks. All went well. Mac Mini with 8 gig memory. Arcam rDac & M2Tech Hiface (One). Hiface via hub (Powered Anker hub) connected to Mac Mini and via coax to rDac. in Pure Music audio settings : Integer Mode (Nonmixable Integer Output Stream). Till now no problems. To my ears the music sounds better than in Mountain Lion. On the M2Tech Site is said that the drivers for Hiface are not up to date with Mavericks, that you have to wait for new Hiface drivers before updating to Mavericks. But, as I said, with my system there was no problem at all. Perhaps because my Hiface is not directly connected to Mac Mini but has its own powered hub (the hub is connected to Mac mini via usb) happy listening, Eneasilvio
