  1. First off you will need a blu ray drive either internal or external, like a USB drive. Rip your blu ray disc using MakeMKV , as a back up file, and save the file someplace that DVD Extractor can find. Once the disc is ripped run DVD-A and convert the file to the format you want. Hope this helps.
  2. Thanks for the review. Did you use it with Roon at all?
  3. It's been asked a couple of times with no response that I could see, how is the headphone amp?
  4. Thanks Marc will go back to the beginning and start reading thru. Glad it worked for you.
  5. Thanks Cornan. I have seen a couple of reviews in the pro magazines and online but very little mention of the phono stage. That link was very helpful.
  6. Good morning all. Has anyone who owns a Brooklyn used the phono preamp on this , specifically the moving magnet, and if so do you consider it a useful feature or just a throw in given the popularity of vinyl at the moment. Thanks in advance.
  7. I've been converting my ISO's to Sony DSF when splitting tracks. Is this the best of the three offered? i have no complaints with my Sony files just wondering if the other two offer any benefits. Thanks for any input.
  8. I've had a similar issue as you twice now in the past week and each time I found that my Oppo's IP address had changed by one number. In both cases it was the last number in the chain before 2020, and once I matched the Sonore app to the Oppo I've been fine. Have no idea why that one number has changed though. Hope you get your problem solved.
  9. Finally got this working. Thanks again for the links and the step by step and thanks to Ted for bringing this to our attention.
  10. Thanks for the reply and the step by step. When I hit extract I get the message cannot connect to and it lists the Oppo's IP address. I must have missed a step somewhere.
  11. Thanks for the reply and the step by step too. When I hit extract I get cannot connect to and it lists the Oppo's IP address. Will have to investigate further.
  12. Problem when I check my list of devices that are connected to my Mac Mini my Oppo 103 D does not show up nor does my Mac show up on the Oppo which makes sense. Both are connected by ethernet to the same router why don't they show on the same network and how can I get them to recognize each other?
  13. Sony has a new head unit on the market that plays everything even DSD, $1500! Until I can afford that I just use my LG V10 phone and Blue Tooth or an Ipod Touch. The phone actually sounds better and plays more formats and has more storage.
  14. Rest in peace Wilbur. 96 is a nice long run.
